Cognition of Quran (3)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ بِجَمِیعِ مَحَامِدِه کُلِّهَا عَلَی جَمِیعِ نِعَمِهِ کُلِّهَا اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ مالِکِ الْمُلْکِ مُجْرِی الْفُلْکِ مُسَخِّرِ الرِّیاحِ فالِقِ الاْصْباحِ دَیّانِ الدّینِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمینَ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلی حِلْمِهِ بَعْدَ عِلمِهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلی عَفْوِهِ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلی طُولِ اَناتِهِ فی غَضَبِهِ وَهُوَ قادِرٌ عَلی ما یُریدُ  ثم الصلاه و السلام علی محمد عبده و رسوله ارسله بالهدی و دین الحق لیظهره علی الدین کله و لو کره المشرکون اوصیکم عبادالله و نفسی بتقوی الله و اتباع امره و نهیه، و اخوفکم من عقابه.

The Miraculous

The miracle of prophets is a means of proving that their prophecy and witness is the authenticity of their claims that have been associated with God and as evidence that they have brought the message from the unseen world. Therefore, the miracle that they carry out should be a sign of "transcendentalism" and do something that man cannot do.

Of course, it should be noted that no Prophet initiated his invitation with miracles from the beginning, but did a miracle in order to repel the doubters. The message of the prophets is the same as the truth, which is in harmony with the original nature and the common sense. Prophets say something that human nature and intellect accepts it. The Holy Quran describes the message of the prophets as follows:

لَقَدْ جاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنا بِالْحَقِ (اعراف: 43)

The messengers of our Lord did come with the truth

 «يا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جاءَكُمُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ (يونس: 108)

Say, “O people, the truth has come to you from your Lord

Therefore, it is stated in the Qur'an that the scholars and scholars accept the invitation of God immediately, and only those who regard the call of God as against their own interests do not accept it, although they acknowledge that it is true within themselves.

 وَ جَحَدُوا بِها وَ اسْتَيْقَنَتْها أَنْفُسُهُمْ ظُلْماً وَ عُلُوًّا (نمل: 14)

And they rejected them, although their souls were certain of them, out of wickedness and pride. 

Prophet Moussa went on to prophecy in the period when witchcraft was prevalent in society, and witches had a superior social status. Prophet Moussa (peace be upon him), in order to prove the veracity of claiming his prophecy, should make a miracle that is understandable to his audience and everyone will understand that he is truly a messenger of Allah. The Holy Quran says about miracles of Moussa (peace be upon him):

فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ ؛ وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاءُ لِلنَّاظِرِينَ (اعراف:107-108)

So he threw his staff, and it was an apparent serpent. And He pulled out his hand, and it was white to the onlookers.

The Prophet presented his miracle with a denunciation by the Pharaohs who demanded evidence for him to prove his prophecy. God commands to Moses and Aaron:

«فَأْتِيا فِرْعَوْنَ‏ فَقُولا إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‏؛

Go to Pharaoh and say to him: We are prophets of the Lord of the universe”

Pharaoh became angry after the discussion with Musa, and convincedly and without any reason he said:

لئن اتّخذت إلها غيري لأجعلنّك من المسجونين؛ 

"If you choose a god besides me, I will imprison you." Moses said with a mumble:

«أو لو جئتك بشي‏ء مبين

What If I bring you a clear reason for the truth? “Pharaoh said:

فأت به إن كنت من الصّادقين؛

Bring it if you're truthful.

Then the Prophet Moses presented his cane and the brilliant hand. And when Pharaoh used a group of witches to confront Musa, the truth of Moses 'prophecy and his relationship with God became evident to them sooner than the others, because they themselves were magicians and witches, and they realized that Moses' action is not kind of human magic before others.

In the age of Jesus' prophecy, medicine was widely practiced, and doctors had credibility in the community, so the miracle of the Prophet was of the same kind, so that the superhumanity of this act would be understandable by people. The Holy Quran says:

إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدْتُكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ ... وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي فَتَنْفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِي ۖ وَتُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِي ۖ وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِي ۖ(مائده:110)

When God will say, “O Jesus son of Mary, recall My favor upon you and upon your mother, how I supported you with the Holy Spirit. You spoke to the people from the crib, and in maturity. How I taught you the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel. And recall that you molded from clay the shape of a bird, by My leave, and then you breathed into it, and it became a bird, by My leave. And you healed the blind and the leprous, by My leave; and you revived the dead, by My leave. And recall that I restrained the Children of Israel from you when you brought them the clear miracles. But those who disbelieved among them said, `This is nothing but obvious sorcery.'“

 

The prophetic period of the Prophet was a period in which literature and poetry were widely used, and literary and poets in the community were credible. And the miracle of the Messenger of Allah is the Book of the Qur'an. The Qur'an was presented with the most distinct style and most expressive and most solid content on the Arabs of that time, while the Arabic skills of that period were in the language and their expression, and they clearly recognized that these words could not have been made by human beings. In the Qur'an, when it comes to the miracle, it calls on the audience who doubts about the truthfulness of the call and the claim of the Prophet of Allah, to come and get in The challenge of the Quran or Tahaddi. Considers and opposes the state of doubt among the pagans and those who oppose the Qur'an and Islam and Tahaddi with them.

 

 

وَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِمَّا نَزَّلْنا عَلى‏ عَبْدِنا فَأْتُوا بِسُورَةٍ مِنْ مِثْلِهِ (بقره: 23)

And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like these, and call your witnesses apart from God, if you are truthful.

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُ بَلْ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ. فَلْيَأْتُوا بِحَدِيثٍ مِثْلِهِ إِنْ كانُوا صادِقِينَ (طور:33-34)

Or do they say, “He made it up”? Rather, they do not believe. So let them produce a discourse like it, if they are truthful.

In the books of the previous prophets, meaning and content was from the Lord, but the choice of words and phrases was the responsibility of the prophets, contrary to the Qur'an, which both the content and the word came from God, and the Prophet did not have a role in the Qur'anic expres- sion. Therefore, the Holy Quran invites all humans and jinnists to contest, and says:

قُل لَّئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَىٰ أَن يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا (اسراء:88)

Say, “If mankind and jinn came together to produce the like of this Quran, they could never produce the like of it, even if they backed up one another.”

Abu al-Waleed Ataba bin Rabiyya, who was the elders of the Quraish tribe, once sat with the leaders of Qurish in the al-Haram mosque. The Prophet also sat on the other side of the mosque. Ataba told the quraish leaders: "Do you allow me to speak to Mohammad, to convince him to stop his call?" They said to him, "Yes, if you can speak to him go and do anything to persuade him.”

Ataba came to the Prophet and said: "O my brother's son, it was a habit for the people of each tribe to refer to other tribal members, the son of a brother. You have family honor, but there is something you claim to have caused Encounters and divisions among their people. Listen now I will tell you something! "The Prophet said:" Say, I listen. " Ataba said: "O my brother's son! If your goal is to accumulate wealth, then we will provide you with the same amount of wealth for you to become rich. If you want a good situation, we will make you our boss. And if you ask, we will command you. “ Then he said: "The one that appears on you and whispers things with you is a problem that affects your nerves, we are ready to treat you completely and spend the money that is needed." "Ataba spoke, and the Prophet was completely silent and listened to all his words. Then the Prophet said to him, "are you finished?" Said, "Yes." He said: "Now listen to my words." Ataba said: "I am ready with my heart and soul." The Prophet began to recount the Qur'an and began reading from the beginning of Surah Faslat :

«بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ‏ ... كِتابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آياتُهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيًّا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ. بَشِيراً وَ نَذِيراً ...» (فصلت: 3-4)

And he continued, and Ataba listened with all his might; he relied his hands behind the head; he was fascinated by the Quran reading of the Prophet, until he came to the verse of prostrate and the Prophet prostrated . Then he said: "Oh, Abu al-Waleed! You heard what I recited to you, now it's up to you and your thoughts to judge! "At this time, Atabha came out of the state of attraction of the soul, and without saying anything he went to his friends. They saw him changed and said among themselves: Ataba comes with another state. When he sat down with them, they said, "What have you brought?" He said: "What I have come to say is that I heard a word, swear to God! I have never heard such a word, swear to God! Neither is it a poem, nor a magic, nor a priest, as you think. They said: "Oh, Abu al-Waleed! Muhammad has conjured you with his words. "
